We thoroughly enjoyed our first Pickleball Trips to Croatia.  The itinerary and accommodations were all top notch! We stayed in three different cities in Croatia, and all three hotels were wonderful and in great locations.  The pre arranged transportation was seamless to each new adventure.  The restaurants and meals were fabulous as well as the tours and sight seeing, all just wonderfully planned.  Croatia is a spectacular country to visit with so much history. Most of all we enjoyed the group of 16 we were with, and our tremendous leaders Stephen and Natko.  We all bonded together through the wonderful sport of pickleball. First Class! The trip to Croatia is the 6th trip that I've taken with Pickleball Trips. Each of these trips are well planned, with excellent accommodations, and great pickleball instruction and play with locals. Croatia is no exception. We were always on the go. Logistics were well planned. Really liked playing with local clubs. Only suggestion is that I was pooped after the daily excursions, and that was when we were scheduled to play pickleball. Not sure if anything could be done about that.

We just enjoyed our sixth wonderful trip with Pickleball Trips and every trip has been such a pleasure. From great guides/instructors and playing to beautiful accommodations and excursions to delicious food and making new friends we didn’t want to leave. As long as pickleball is a part of our lives, we’ll continue going on new adventures with Pickleball Trips. If I could give 10 stars to this review, I would!  I had so much fun on our Pickleball trip to Croatia! Great fun, great food, great sights and great people. It was very well thought-out trip and planned to perfection. There was the perfect balance of "down time" and play time. My Pickleball Trip to Croatia in May of 2026 was the trip of a lifetime! From the food to the hotels to the coaching and the courts and the play itself, everything was outstanding! Stephen did a great job of keeping us all informed and organized but also giving us free range. The excursions were fun as well. As the person in our family who organizes all trips, I was looking forward to a trip where I didn’t have to think. I was not disappointed. Every detail was thought of, the hotels were top notch, the food was wonderful, the Croatian countryside/islands and people were fabulous and the pickleball was educational and entertaining. Natko, our Croatian host, provided superb courts in Zagreb, Split and soon to be Dubrovnik. A special treat was playing with some hard hitting locals. The Aegean Island Escape was an amazing trip! We enjoyed learning new drills and coaching from Stephen and Gracie. The facility had dedicated courts and we also had an opportunity to play Padel. We can’t say enough about the great excursions, the food, and the tours. Plus the hotels in Athens and Paros were wonderful. Our group was so much fun. I’ve done trips with other companies and Pickleball Trips is head and shoulders the best. Stephen and crew curates a wonder trip ensuring you get the most out of the country and pickleball is the bonus. The pickleball was just enough to scratch the itch with enough energy left over to enjoy the other activities and excursions. Highly recommend! In fact, I’m getting ready to sign up for another one soon.
