Day 1 Friday, April 16, 2027

WELKOM IN NEDERLAND

  • Arrive at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) and begin your journey through the Netherlands.
  • Transfer to the IntercityHotel Leiden, which will serve as our base for exploring the Dutch countryside.
  • Join the group for a welcome dinner at a local Leiden restaurant to meet your fellow travelers and guides.
  • Brief orientation and introduction to the week’s schedule of cultural excursions and pickleball sessions.

*Due to the time difference, travelers from North America will need to depart at least one day before the tour start date in order to arrive on time.

Day 2 Saturday, April 17, 2027

DEN HAAG & DELFT

  • Buffet Breakfast at accommodation
  • Visit the Royal Delft Experience to see the artistry of blue-and-white ceramics
  • Lunch at a charming café in Delft (included)
  • Transfer to Den Haag
  • Tour of the Mauritshuis (home to Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring) and the historic Binnenhof parliament buildings
  • Evening: Pickleball clinic and recreational play with Den Haag pickleball players, dinner at venue (included) before returning to Leiden
Day 3 Sunday, April 18, 2027

COBBLESTONES & COURTS IN HAARLEM

  • Buffet Breakfast at accommodation
  • Train to Haarlem (about 20 min)
  • Guided walking tour of Haarlem’s cobblestone streets, grand churches, and lively squares
  • Lunch on your own in Haarlem
  • Afternoon free time to explore Haarlem at your own pace — options include the Corrie ten Boom House, the Teylers Museum, or enjoying a coffee along the Spaarne River
  • Afternoon/Evening: Pickleball clinic and recreational play with the Haarlem Pickleball Club
  • Dinner with your group and Haarlem players (included) before returning to Leiden
Day 4 Monday, April 19, 2027

WINDMILLS, FLOWERS & CHEESE (KEUKENHOF)

  • Buffet Breakfast at accommodation
  • Excursion to Keukenhof Gardens for a tour of the extensive floral displays.
  • Traditional Dutch lunch followed by visits to a local cheese farm and a historic working windmill.
  • Evening: Optional recreational play in Hoofddorp or a free evening to explore Leiden.
Day 5 Tuesday, April 20, 2027

AMSTERDAM FLAVORS & FINAL CLINICS

  • Buffet Breakfast at accommodation
  • Guided tour of a local Amsterdam market followed by a hands-on Dutch cooking class.
  • Group lunch featuring the dishes prepared during the class.
  • Final Clinic: Afternoon session in Hoofddorp followed by a social dinner with local players.
Day 6 Wednesday, April 21, 2027

AMSTERDAM EXPLORATION & CANAL FAREWELL

  • Breakfast at accommodation
  • Train to Amsterdam (~35–40 min)
  • Free morning in Amsterdam to visit world-famous museums such as the Rijksmuseum or Van Gogh Museum, do some last-minute souvenir shopping, or simply stroll along the canals
  • Lunch on your own in Amsterdam
  • Farewell dinner aboard a private sightseeing canal cruise through Amsterdam’s historic waterways (included)
Day 7 Thursday, April 22, 2027

Logistics were well planned. Really liked playing with local clubs. Only suggestion is that I was pooped after the daily excursions, and that was when we were scheduled to play pickleball. Not sure if anything could be done…
